The successful applicant will make innovative contributions to the development of the science of animal nutrition, preferably with a focus on terrestrial monogastric species (pigs, poultry). This covers topics such as protein supply, the efficient use of environmentally relevant nutrients and feed resources, interactions between feeding regimes and animal welfare, and feed safety. The successful candidate will apply modern as well as classical approaches to the research of animal nutrition physiology.
